The conference reflected the latest developments in PKI with a focus
on successful applications, innovative technology, and the essential
role that PKI could play to accelerate secure transactions and other
business applications. This was an opportunity to hear first-hand
from the experience of subject matter experts and network with delegates
from Asia PKI Forum with members from China, Japan, Korea, Singapore
and Chinese Taipei.

Leahyˇ¦s professional career consists of over twenty years experience
in technology, the most recent thirteen years in financial services.
Terry is a Certified Information System Security Professional,
a Certified EDP Auditor, a member of the International Information
Integrity Institute, the BITS Authentication Profile Work Group,
BITS Profile Leader for Network Security, Chair Person for the
formal PKI Forum, Chair of the Steering Committee for PKI Technical
Committee under OASIS. Terry has been a speaker at numerous
security conferences on the subject of "Deploying Security at
the Enterprise Level", "Overcome Obstacles in deploying PKI"
including meetings such as I-4 (the International Institute
Information Integrity), the PKI Forum and CA World. |

Ford has actively participated in standardization work for ISO/IEC,
ITU, IETF, and ANSI X9 and as part of his work with standards

standard in ISO/IEC/ITU and ANSI and is co-chair of the Internet
IETF Public Key Infrastructure (PKIX) working group.Mr. Ford
has consulted in the areas of computer network and telecommunications
security, and has also published and taught extensively. He
is author of the 1994 Prentice-Hall book "Computer Communications
Security: Principles, Standard Protocols and Techniques" and
co-author (with Michael S. Baum) of Secure Electronic Commerce
(Prentice Hall, 1997). |

| Stephen
Wilson is a leading international authority on Public Key Infrastructure
(PKI). Stephen has helped major corporate clients and governments
establish effective public key systems and solutions, in Australia,
Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and New Zealand. He has published
and spoken widely on all aspects of electronic authentication,
and is closely involved with policy formulation at multiple
levels of government across the Asia Pacific region. Stephen
has sat on the APEC e-Security Task Group since 1998, and was
a major contributor to the Task Groupˇ¦s Electronic Authentication
ˇV Issues relating to its selection and use (2002). He is past
chairperson of the Certification Forum of Australasia, and was
a founding member of the National Electronic Authentication
Council. |
